Textron just won a 34 Million dollar contract for the Fleet class CUSV for the minesweeping module of the LCS.

This video from an exercise a couple years ago shows a hunter killer configuration (one carries the sonar, the other the mine neutralization stuff).



Guessing surface module for these will likely be soon as well.

This stuff is really cool… I contemplated this many years ago... And I figured if I thought of it they were working on it… My original thought was that unmaned surface and subsurface vehicles would be used more as sensor platforms and Intel gathering…... Like these minehunter vehicles and uav's… I was considering submarine launched remote sensors... I'm sure they have them now…
