New Weapon Mounts to ships failing

Hi guys,

When adding new weapon mounts to ship, i get the comment "unable to connect to mandatory datalink". I also get, depending on the mount i've added in, no available weapons director able to illuminate target.

I've spent a lot of time adding additional directors and look for datalink sensors to combat this problem, but i can't see, to overcome it.

Help appreciated.

Need to add the datalink as well, this requires doing an ini modification to add the datalink. This is explained in pages 82-90 in the command manual.

What about the comment of not having weapons direct director available to illuminate target. Is that covered in the same issue?

Yes, to launch, say, AEGIS weapons you require the AEGIS datalink. Same thing goes with AMRAAMs, you require the right datalink to fire them.

Hmm still failing to get that Comms link for the missile.

I've eported a delta file and i've added the following:

Gone back into the scenario, get loaded that script, but still no joy.

Just want to make sure i'm editing the right file
