I just might add, that the throwing of tomatoes would be classified as "subversion of the republic" - that's paragraph 310 of the Czech penal law. The imprisonment ranges between 8-12 years if done on your own or 12-20 if done as a part of organised group.

Alternatively, it can be considered to be a sabotage (paragraph 314) - that's only 3-10 years or 8-12 if done in organised manner.

Oh well, the joys of liberty and peace.

Well, regarding the "82% do not mind", I saw and I'm seeing rather different numbers.

For example, SANEP (which is providing data for several main newspaper in CZ):


36,7+10,4 "don't mind" here (opposing to 34,1+12,3). I can find even worse or better result if needed.

Pictures (Foto seven to ten as stated below the photos) are from my city. Small commemoration of WW2 liberation of my city (Pilsen) was held. Few guys from the US convoy attended the ceremony, while the rest countinued on the highway to cross into Bavaria.
